In
1982, a long-term ambition of two Nottingham based engineers was
realised with the establishment of Jonray Eng Co Ltd. The engineers,
Ray Stevenson & Jack Summers developed & produced prototype
components for various local companies including the then, Dunlop
Cox (now Lear Corp'n Nottm Ltd) and Raleigh Cycles Ltd.

As
a reputation for reliability and quality was gained and the company
customer base grew, new premises were sought. Quickly the company's
second home was outgrown and a further move to larger premises inevitable.
The move to the company's current premises was made in 1987 and
the workforce since that move has doubled to its present high of
24. You join us at an exciting time now, because another move is
likely, our customer base is ever growing and more job opportunities
are likely to be resultant. |
